What we collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your email address, the date and time of subscription, and the source that referred you (for example, which page you subscribed from). We do not require or collect your name.

Newsletters include an open-tracking pixel and click-tracking links. When you open an email or click a link inside it, we record that engagement event alongside a timestamp and the technical details your email client sends with the request (such as IP address and user agent).

How we use it

We never sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Unsubscribe

Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email newsletter@bouncezero.news with the subject "unsubscribe" and you will be removed immediately. Unsubscribe requests are honoured without delay.

Legal basis & retention

We process your email address on the basis of your consent (the act of subscribing), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in record-keeping for unsubscribe suppression. Engagement analytics (opens and clicks) are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the newsletter and measuring its performance; you can avoid this by unsubscribing, which stops all future emails and tracking. Subscriber records are retained only while you remain subscribed; after unsubscribing, only the suppressed address is kept to prevent re-subscription, and no further tracking occurs.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, or to make a complaint, contact us at privacy@bouncezero.io. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this page, and the effective date below reflects the latest change.
